Rising Sun TV (RSTV) is Mpumalanga local satellite television channel broadcasting on StarSat channel 504. Established in January 2016, the RSTV channel has grown to compete favorably with most TV channels in South Africa.
Rising Sun TV (RSTV) is Mpumalanga local satellite television channel broadcasting on StarSat channel 504. Established in January 2016, the RSTV channel has grown to compete favorably with most TV channels in South Africa.
StarSat was approached for carriage in 2018, and ICASA approved the carriage of RSTV by StarSat in February 2019. We effectively started broadcasting 24 hours in June 2019. Since then, RSTV has become a recognized broadcasting giant within the StarSat platform nationally. StarSat has over 1.2 million viewers in South Africa and over 20.5 million viewers in Africa. We strive to partner with local businesses through affordable advertising rates.
